Today, within the framework of the republican seminar titled “Modern Museology and the Museums of New Uzbekistan: Theory, Practice, and Prospects”, the seminar participants paid a visit to the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, participants became closely acquainted with the ongoing renovation and modernization works at the museum, particularly with the concept, content, and design solutions of the renewed permanent exhibition. Special attention was drawn to the interpretation of historical processes based on modern scientific approaches and the presentation of national heritage through innovative methods.

The seminar participants expressed their opinions and practical recommendations regarding the scientific grounding of the exhibitions, visual solutions, level of convenience for visitors, as well as the possibilities of using interactive and multimedia tools. In addition, approaches aimed at creating an inclusive museum environment and increasing the interest of young people and the wider public in museums were discussed.

This visit served as an important platform for exchanging experience among museums, studying best practices, and shaping future reforms. It was noted that the feedback and recommendations expressed during the visit would contribute to further improvement of the exhibition and scientific-educational activities of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan.
