Last weekend, representatives from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Northwest University (China) visited the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan.
During the visit the following delegation members familiarized themselves with the museum’s activities:
Dang Zhihao — Deputy Director, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Cultural Relics Bureau;
Kaishajiang Kuerban — Deputy Director, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Cultural Relics Bureau, Head of Archaeology (name kept as provided);
Li Wenying — Director, Xinjiang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology;
Ruan Qiurong — Director, Archaeology Department, Xinjiang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology;
Yan Xuemei — Director, Collections and Preservation Department, Xinjiang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology;
Ma Jian — Professor, Northwest University;
Zhu (Jiasong) Zhu / Zhu Jiansong — Researcher, Northwest University (rendered as Zhu Jiansong per your original list).
At the meeting, the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Cultural Relics Bureau, and Northwest University discussed scientific and cultural cooperation, planning to expand joint activities next year, carry out joint archaeological research, and sign a number of cooperation agreements.
At the end of the visit the guests examined the museum’s collections, archaeological exhibits and expositions, and expressed high appreciation for the museum’s work.
