Today, a delegation from Ordu University (Republic of Türkiye) headed by Professor Dr. Orhan Baş, Rector of the University, visited the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan. The delegation included prominent Turkish historians and archaeologists.

During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the ongoing process of updating the museum’s exhibitions. They showed great interest in the exhibits reflecting various periods of Uzbekistan’s history, their scientific interpretation, and the modern presentation of the museum displays.

Professor Orhan Baş and the members of the delegation highly appreciated the museum staff’s research and exhibition work and shared their opinions and suggestions. The parties also discussed prospects for further academic cooperation, joint projects in the study of historical heritage, and the development of cultural exchange.
