Today, May 16th, a press conference was held on the UzreportTV television channel to commemorate May 18th - International Museum Day.
Representatives of museology, officials, and journalists were invited to the press conference.
Among the speakers was Ismailova Jannat Khamidovna, Director of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan.

"The renovation work at the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan has been completed by 90%. At the same time, not only the restoration of the museum, but also the re-exposition work was almost completed. We plan to reopen the museum's activities for visitors within 1 month, no more than 2 months. Our newly renovated museum is becoming a modern museum that meets world standards in every aspect, creating convenience for children and visitors with disabilities."
