Today, a delegation of representatives from the Shanghai Museum in China visited the Tashkent Museum, a branch of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan. The guests were welcomed by Jannat Ismailova, the Director of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan. During initial discussions at the negotiating table, the parties agreed to organize international and traveling exhibitions, enhance staff qualifications, strengthen cooperation, and implement joint projects. Following the conversation, an excursion was organized for the Shanghai Museum representatives at the Tashkent Museum. They were shown artifacts and provided information about Tashkent's history, urban planning foundations, national clothing, values and customs, and the role the city played as the "Gateway of the East" - a caravanserai on the Great Silk Road. The Shanghai Museum representatives emphasized that they would visit again to ensure the continuation of cooperation and discuss future plans.
